Water – Source of Life

Water, the very source of life, is the most fundamental element of the environment. It exists as part of a natural cycle with neither beginning nor end. Before it reaches our taps, it embarks on a brief journey that is an essential part of this continuous cycle.

World Water Day was established at the UN Conference on Environment and Development, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1992. The decision was taken by the UN General Assembly on 22 December 1992, which designated 22 March as World Water Day.

The UN also reminds us that water is a crucial ally in helping humanity prevent and avoid the transmission of the coronavirus pandemic.

“Water and soap against coronavirus” is the updated message of the international organisation for World Water Day 2020.

The protection of natural resources, as we all know, is a collective responsibility and a key pillar of DEYAR itself. DEYAR not only provides us with some of the best-quality water, but also prioritizes public health by conserving natural resources and implementing essential initiatives, such as the integrated wastewater treatment system.
